This is an introductory, week-long camp for youngsters aged 5 to 11. Campers will explore Back Creek and the waters around Annapolis while learning boating skills. The fleet consists of small sailboats, powerboats, canoes and kayaks. Games and journeys will be incorporated into the week-long themes to make boating, boating safety, and bay awareness a fun experience.
SPIRIT OF AMERICA CAMP

The Spirit of America Camp trains campers to become safe boaters in different types of boats. They will learn basic boating skills and take the Maryland Boater License Course, with a certification test administered at the end of the week. This hands-on curriculum includes boating terms, weather conditions, navigation, right-of-way rules and rescue techniques while motor boating, canoeing, kayaking and sailing. No boating experience necessary.
KEELBOAT CAMP
age 13-18

Youngsters learn basic sailing skills, teamwork, boating safety and will engage in some introductory racing aboard ACB’s fleet of J-24s and SB3s. These modern racing boats are even matched so youngsters learn what makes a sailboat go by comparing performance.
SPLASH CAMP:

Enjoy boating in the morning using canoes, kayaks, sailboats and jon boats to explore the waters of Annapolis and Back Creek and then stay for an afternoon of swimming at the Truxton Park Pool. This program is one of the Annapolis Recreation and Parks summer camps. Please register through their channels.
SCOUT CAMP:
July 2,3,5,6 – any troop age – EMNP – 9-3 – 30.00 per student per day
Cubs Scouts, Boy Scouts, Brownies and Girl Scouts spend four days learning basic boating on ACB’s fleet of canoes, kayaks and small powerboats and sailboats at Ellen Moyer Nature Park on Back Creek. Classes include lessons on area history and environment, as well as on-the-water practice sessions. Curriculum is keyed to merit badge requirements. Suitable for all ages of scouts.
