We are serving the population of the Chesapeake Bay region from children to senior citizens, from the able-bodied to the disabled, and everybody in between.  There are numerous program opportunities, a majority of them provided at no or little cost, for all levels of experience.  Because of the generosity of volunteers, grants and sponsors, ACB is able to offer access to sailing and water activities for all.  We are committed to delivering an enduring legacy to the community and extensive exposure for our Sponsors.

OVERVIEW
Annapolis Community Boating is a 501(c)3 organization, dedicated to making boating accessible to the community at all levels. ACB has created a vibrant program that can be used by public and private organizations to introduce, teach and inspire involvement in boating activities including sailing, paddling and powerboating.
Skills gleaned from ACB boating experience are carried over into the everyday lives of participants. Adventure, freedom, team work, self-esteem, an appreciation of nature, an understanding of weather, and overcoming challenges are some of the many attributes acquired from our programs. Many participants go on to become boat owners themselves, and to share the love of sailing and an appreciation of the Chesapeake Bay with their friends and family.
The Partnership

  • ACB has a respected history for organizing far-reaching and high impact programs
  • The City of Annapolis, recognizing the importance of boating to our region, has joined the partnership by awarding long term usage of the Back Creek Nature Park facility to ACB for usage of the smaller boats.
